Data Deletion

Last updated: 21 September 2026 · See also our Privacy Policy.

Ways to delete your data

You have three ways to remove your data from IMFLUENCOR, depending on what you want gone:

  1. Disconnect Instagram only — open the Instant DM app or the IMFLUENCOR dashboard, go to your connected Instagram account, and choose Disconnect. This immediately stops all Instagram-dependent automation and removes your stored Instagram access token. Your IMFLUENCOR account itself is unaffected.
  2. Revoke access from Instagram directly — in Instagram's own app, go to Settings → Apps and Websites, and remove IMFLUENCOR. Meta automatically sends us a signed deletion request, which triggers the same automated deletion described below — you don't need to do anything in our app as well.
  3. Delete your IMFLUENCOR account — from your account settings, request account deletion, or email sagar@techtray.in if you'd rather not use the app. This removes your account, connected Instagram data, and associated automation data, other than records we are legally required to retain.

What gets deleted when Instagram data is removed

Whether triggered by you disconnecting, or by Meta's automated deletion request, we remove:

  • Your connected Instagram account record (ID, username, profile data, and access token)
  • Posts you had configured for comment monitoring
  • Comment-processing records tied to those posts
  • Automation workflows, their version history, and execution history tied to that Instagram connection

We do not store your Instagram comment or message text in the first place — see our Privacy Policy — so there is no message content to separately erase.

Meta's automated Data Deletion Request

As required by Meta Platform Policy, IMFLUENCOR implements an automated Data Deletion Request callback. When Meta notifies us that you've revoked access, we verify the signed request and delete the Instagram data described above, then return a confirmation code. This callback only accepts properly signed requests from Meta — it cannot be used to delete another user's data.

What we keep, and why

Where we are required to retain certain records for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes (for example, payment/order records), we retain the minimum necessary and restrict access to them, rather than deleting them immediately on request.
